If you've been thinking about trying yoga but aren't quite sure what to expect, this is for you.
Maybe you haven't exercised in a while. Maybe you've tried yoga before and found it a bit fast, a bit intimidating, or just not quite right. Or maybe you're simply curious and looking for something calm and grounding to add to your week.
Whatever brought you here — you're welcome.
What my classes are actually like
My classes are gentle. That's intentional.
We move slowly and mindfully, with plenty of time to settle into each pose. There's no rushing, no pressure to keep up, and no expectation that you'll look a certain way or be able to do everything perfectly. Modifications are always offered, and you're always encouraged to listen to your own body.
Each class weaves together movement, breathwork and a little meditation. Most people leave feeling calmer, a little looser, and genuinely glad they came.
Do I need to be flexible?
No — and I mean that. Flexibility is something that develops over time with a regular practice. You don't need it to begin. You just need to show up.
What should I bring?
Just yourself. Wear something comfortable you can move in. Mats are available at the studio, or bring your own if you have one.
Where are the classes?
I teach yoga classes in Altrincham at Move Altrincham — Monday evenings at 5:30pm and Saturday mornings at 10:30am.

Ready to try?
The first class is often the hardest step. Once you're on the mat, most people wonder why they waited so long.
You can book your spot via the TWMove app, or online at twmove.co.uk.
I'd love to see you there.
